Thanks for your inquiry! You don’t specify a timeframe, but here are a couple suggestions.
- You could put your Smart Pots in a deep tray and fill with water. Your plant will easily be able to bottom water.
- You can also reuse a plastic water bottle (this is a link to explain how) https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Drip-Irrigator-from-a-Plastic-Bottle#:~:text=Poke%204%20to%205%20holes%20in%20the%20cap.&text=Use%20a%20drill%20or%20a,bottle%20when%20you%20are%20done.&text=Avoid%20making%20the%20holes%20too,clogged%20up%20by%20the%20soil.

Our Smart Pots are made to be used and reused for MANY seasons. We have customers that have grown in them for 4-5 years!!! After each season follow the cleaning instructions below to keep your Smart Pot in tip top shape!
Smart Pots can be machine laundered, hand washed in a tub or soaked in a large bucket of cleaning solution. Use a soft-bristled scrub brush to lightly scrub the outside of the pot. Be sure to rinse each pot thoroughly. Allow them to air dry only. Do not put Smart Pot fabric containers in a dryer.

Our Smart Pot planters 3 – 10 gallons have what we call “cut handles”. These handles can be folded down or cut off and the planter can easily be moved with or without handles. Our Smart Pot planters 15 – 25 gallons have what we call “strap handles”. These handles are nylon straps that are sewn into the bag. These planters are bigger and heavier and need a reinforced handles to move around once filled.

I keep buying more of these pots. They are wonderful. I planted tomatoes in my old plastic planters and some in these Smart Pots. Well, the Smart Pot tomatoes took off. The plants are over twice the size as the ones in the old planters and have produced many tomatoes where I am still waiting for the ones in the plastic containers to fully develop and turn red. The banana peppers, Anaheim peppers, etc. plants grew bigger than I have ever seen before. They are still producing and the stalks are thick and healthy. Cherry tomatoes were outstanding. I will use these Smart Pots every year and trash the plastic planters. I am very, very happy to have discovered these planters! Just be aware, they do take a lot of soil to fill so you will have to stock up. I get my vegetable planting soil when it goes on sale at the local store.

Love these pots. Can be used for a variety of plants, whether flowers of vegetable. Like the different sizes as well. Color just adds interest to these pots. The ability to move them at random, is another benefit.
